What Is the Unemployed Learner Warehouse Learnership About?

The Unemployed Learner Warehouse Learnership will equip successful applicants with both theoretical and practical knowledge in the freight handling and warehousing sector. As part of the programme, learners will complete the National Certificate in Freight Handling NQF Level 3.

Key Purpose of the Learnership:

This programme will empower learners to:

  • Understand warehouse and logistics fundamentals

  • Learn essential safety, admin, and inventory control processes

Key Duties and Learning Areas:

As part of the Unemployed Learner Warehouse Learnership, you will be trained in:

  • Receiving, picking, packing, and stock handling
  • Operating within legal and company safety regulations
  • Maintaining stock accuracy and minimizing damage

    • Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy (minimum 40%)
    • Two South African languages (minimum 40%)
  • Be unemployed at time of application
  • Be between 18–35 years old
  • Be a South African citizen
  • Be part of the Employment Equity group
  • Not have completed the same learnership elsewhere
  • (Bonus) Diploma/Degree in Logistics or Operations Management
