Job Description (Flume Operator)
Tiger Brands is seeking a General Worker Flume Operator to join its operations in Boksburg. The successful candidate will support production processes by ensuring chemical dosing, safety compliance, and quality control, while maintaining a clean and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Flume Operator, your duties will include:
- Dosing and testing chemical concentrations.
- Distributing products across production lines.
- Completing all QC (Quality Control) documentation accurately.
- Ensuring safety compliance by:
- Wearing PPE at all times.
- Raising SROs.
- Following company safety policies.
- Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Maintaining housekeeping and 5S standards.
- Ensuring MECP compliance.
- Communicating effectively with cookers, seamers, and production teams.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment will be an advantage.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Willingness to work shifts if required.
