Internship Purpose
The Stock Controller Intern will assist the Finance, Workshop, and Sales departments with managing dealership vehicle stock.
The role focuses on stock control processes, vehicle administration, and accurate record-keeping to ensure that dealership inventory is properly tracked and reconciled.
Key Responsibilities
Stock Management
- Maintain accurate records of new and used vehicle stock on the dealership management system
- Assist with regular vehicle stock counts
- Reconcile physical vehicle stock with system records
- Monitor vehicle movements including received, sold, or transferred vehicles
Inventory Administration
- Record vehicle stock received from manufacturers or other dealerships
- Maintain proper documentation for all vehicles in stock
- Report discrepancies between system stock and physical vehicles
Finance & Operational Support
- Assist the Finance Department with administrative duties related to inventory
- Support technicians, service advisors, and workshop staff with stock-related requests
