Purpose of the Job
The General Worker Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the factory, warehouse, offices, and staff facilities to the highest standard of cleanliness. The role also involves assisting office staff with refreshments and supporting smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean offices, canteen, ablution blocks, and laboratory as per schedule
- Replenish toilet rolls, hand towels, and soap dispensers
- Wash crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment
- Prepare and serve tea/coffee for staff and visitors when required
- Manage and issue stock of sugar, tea, and coffee for overtime/night shift staff
- Ensure cleanliness of all areas including floors, windows, blinds, dustbins, and shredding machines
- Notify Supervisor/Administrator of cleaning material stock levels
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / National Certificate
- Previous cleaning experience (essential)
- Ability to follow schedules and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
