About the Salesperson Position
Russells, part of Pepkor Lifestyle, is seeking a dynamic, customer-driven Salesperson to join the Swellendam team on a fixed-term contract. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about retail sales, customer service and meeting performance targets.

Job Purpose
The Salesperson will be responsible for driving sales, achieving targets, and delivering excellent customer service. You will engage with customers, identify their needs, recommend suitable products, and help build long-term customer relationships to support store growth.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform daily sales activities to meet and exceed targets
- Achieve allocated sales budgets and income objectives
- Provide exceptional customer service and customer-centric interactions
- Merchandise products to attract and retain customers
- Process cash and credit transactions according to company policy
- Maintain product knowledge across all categories
- Support store operations where required
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- 7–12 months sales experience, preferably in the retail sector
- Strong understanding of retail processes and customer service
