Minimum Requirements

To be considered for the Procurement Officer  Learnership 2025 Programme, you must:

  • Be unemployed and not currently enrolled in any qualification or learnership.
  • Not hold a completed post-matric qualification (undisclosed post-matric qualifications will lead to disqualification).
  • Hold a Grade 12/Matric certificate with Mathematics Literacy and English (Minimum Level 4).
  • Be a South African citizen with a valid South African ID.
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 35, as per NSDSIII.
  • Submit a SAQA/NLRD verification report confirming Matric certificate (available via SAQA).
  • Provide proof of residence.
  • Be willing to commit to the full 18-month learnership period.

Requirements for People with Disabilities (PWDs):

  • Deaf or hard of hearing candidates must provide their own interpreters at their own expense.
  • Submit proof of disability, such as a medical doctor’s report or ITR-DD13 form signed by a licensed practitioner.

 Key Duties and Responsibilities

As part of the Procurement Officer Learnership Programme, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in coordinating the supply of goods and services.

Learnership Responsibilities:

  • Attend all scheduled training classes.

  • Successfully write assessments and exams.
