About the Learnership (Learnership NQF Level 2)

Cementation Africa Training Academy invites suitably qualified candidates, referred by a Cementation Africa employee, to apply for the 18.2 (Non-Employed) Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Learnership (NQF Level 2).

This 6-month programme equips learners with practical knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices, enabling them to work safely, manage workplace risks, and contribute to a safe and productive environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 10 or 11 (school report with stamp required)
  • Grade 12 will be advantageous
  • Must be unemployed and a South African citizen
  • Good communication skills in English (written & verbal)
  • Medically fit for underground mining environment
  • No criminal record
  • Female candidates must not be pregnant (for safety reasons)
  • Must be able to travel at own cost to Carletonville Training Academy (every second week)
  • Not registered for any other learnership programme
  • Must pass alcohol and drug testing (zero tolerance policy applies)
