Eskom Generation Division is seeking 20 motivated Learner Plant Operators to join the Lethabo Power Station in Deneysville, Free State. This apprenticeship provides both institutionalised and on-the-job training, equipping learners with practical skills and experience in the operating department of a leading energy provider.

Purpose of the Role (Learner Plant Operator)

As a Learner Plant Operator, you will undergo comprehensive training to develop technical competence in plant operations. This programme prepares candidates for future operational roles within Eskom’s divisions, providing hands-on experience and leadership development opportunities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 with:
    • Mathematics 50%
    • Physical Science 50%
    • English 40%
      OR
  • N3 / NCV Level 4 with the above subjects
  • N4/N5 Certificate with Trade Subjects or
  • National Diploma/B Tech/BEng/BSc Eng
  • South African citizen
