We’re seeking a General Worker Team Leader to join our Operations Team in Bloemfontein. If you’re reliable, organised, and passionate about leadership in a warehouse environment, this role could be the next step in your logistics career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain accurate records of all received goods and supplies
  • Arrange and manage consignments in the warehouse
  • Organise shifts and delegate tasks to warehouse staff
  • Verify received goods against packing lists and invoices
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards
  • Communicate with branches regarding shipments and deliveries
  • Maintain strict adherence to company procedures and processes
  • Plan, direct, and evaluate receiving operations and staff performance
  • Perform general housekeeping to maintain a safe and efficient workspace
  • Handle client, branch, and internal warehouse queries promptly (same-day resolution)
  • Obtain and record driver trip sheet acceptances, hand over waybills, and monitor vehicle movements
  • Arrange transport for stock deliveries to clients
  • Prepare and file departmental documents, binning sheets, and stock reports
  • Ensure correct parcel scanning, loading accuracy, and prevent misroutes

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for General Worker Team Leader, applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
  • Valid Code 10 driver’s license (unendorsed) and valid PDP
  • Ability to work under pressure and unsupervised
  • Strong English communication skills
  • High level of reliability, integrity, and professionalism
  • Presentable and well-organised
  • Willingness to work:
    • Monday to Friday, 11h00 – 21h00
    • Overtime when required
  • Own transport to and from work
