Location: Gauteng Province, South Africa
Who Should Apply
- South African citizen, with a valid ID
- Grade 12 pass including Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
- Registered tertiary student (2nd year or above), unemployed graduate, or unemployed person with at least one tertiary qualification
- Not eligible: Candidates writing NSC/Senior Certificate/AET exams in 2025, those who’ve participated in the Volunteer Support Program (VSP), or those currently employed
Responsibilities
Examination Assistants (District & Head Offices)
- Receive, check, control, scan, and pack answer scripts
- Ensure correct batch counts per subject, session, and paper
- Resolve discrepancies and prepare marking centre files
- Dispatch scripts to marking centres and archive/index them after marking
Quality Assurers (Marking Centres)
- Receive, control, and distribute scripts to marking teams
- Verify script counts, mark totals, and accuracy on marksheets
- Ensure all questions are marked and marks transferred properly
- Address discrepancies with marking teams and prepare scripts for archival
