Minimum Requirements

To apply for the De Beers Engineering Learnership 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Education

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 with:
    • Mathematics (not Maths Literacy)
    • Physical Science
    • English
  • Minimum 40% pass in all subjects

OR

  • N2 qualification with four relevant trade subjects

  • NCV Level 3 with at least 40% in Mathematics and related subjects

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to travel to the training centre outside Limpopo (transport provided)
  • Must obtain a Red Ticket (Medical Fitness Certificate) for mining work
