Job Overview

Triton Express is seeking a Driver 2T/4T for its Johannesburg operations. The role involves the safe distribution and collection of cargo, vehicle maintenance checks, and ensuring accurate delivery and collection reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Distribute and collect client cargo efficiently
  • Assist with loading and offloading of cargo
  • Collect and complete daily delivery and collection sheets
  • Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections
  • Report vehicle faults as needed
  • Ensure safe handling of client cargo
  • Confirm delivery and collection addresses
  • Maintain regular communication with the depot
  • Adhere strictly to delivery/collection schedules

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) minimum
  • 1–2 years driving experience preferred but not required
  • Valid unendorsed Code 10 driver’s license and PDP
  • Good geographical knowledge of Johannesburg
  • Ability to work under pressure and unsupervised
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Availability to work 06:00–16:00 and overtime as required
  • Reliable, presentable, and professional
  • Own transport to and from work
  • High degree of integrity
