If you have a Matric certificate and love cosmetics, customer service, and retail, this programme will equip you with the essential skills to succeed in the beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities for Cosmetics Retail Learnership
Stock Control
- Maintain stock freshness and expiry monitoring
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked at all times
- Organise storerooms and manage inventory rotation
- Report damaged, expired, or low-stock items
- Assist with loading/offloading and shelf restocking
Merchandising
- Keep displays clean, appealing, and fully stocked
- Price and label products correctly
- Perform product demos and cosmetic makeovers
- Achieve sales targets across brands and promotions
Customer Service
- Greet and assist customers professionally
- Offer beauty advice without brand bias
- Handle POS transactions in the Cosmetics Department
- Resolve stock queries promptly
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for Cosmetics Retail Learnership you must have:
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
- Computer literacy (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Willingness to work flexible retail hours
Added Advantage:
- Previous experience in a beauty or retail environment

- Basic financial understanding
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a South African citizen
- Clear criminal and credit record
- Willing to work flexi-hours/retail shifts
