Purpose of the Role (Assistant General Worker)
The main purpose of this position is to provide general site assistance, support operational goals, and ensure the safe execution of daily tasks within the designated work area.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support
- Assist site teams to meet operational targets
- Help with daily inspections of work areas and report hazards or deviations
- Support pipeline and valve operations under supervision
- Assist in resolving operational challenges and escalate issues to supervisors
General Site Assistance
- Carry out general tasks assigned by site management
- Maintain work areas through basic housekeeping duties
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Follow all company safety rules, regulations, and procedures
Safety & Compliance
- Work responsibly and maintain a safety-first mindset
- Report unsafe conditions or incidents promptly

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Grade 12 / Matric, or equivalent
Experience
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar operational or general worker role
